Cowards are a dime a dozen…the brave, like you, are a four leaf clover❤️

The vaccine faithful don’t want A/B experiments, they want unquestioned loyalty from everyone else. Their pretensions are pitched so high that they may as well be religious commitments to vaccines.

Hi Stepf, it happens, and quite courageous of you to actually promote critical thinking. I read your piece in another way entirely, just published a LinkedIn article about it: Remix as strategy: why communities—not lone geniuses—drive innovation

“It’s exhausting. And worse—it’s boring.” — Yep. This says it all and gives voice to how I feel about many people’s inability to hold the tension of opposites, not know the answers immediately, and dwell in the grey area for a while. Everything needs to be extreme — a “me vs you” or “us vs them.” Thank you again 👍

No idea about what motivates other people, but if I only wanted to read what I'm already thinking I might as well spend the whole day looking at my reflection in the mirror. Why would I do that? And even though I don't share all of your insights, I still consider them important and necessary.

It does always surprise me when people only want to see things they agree with. It truly does sound just soooo boring. I always appreciate the thoughtful dialogue, ty.

Thanks for the thought experiment. I dislike being forced to take a side, particularly when I want to see events play out so I can decide what I really think about it. I just found your work recently and am interested in reading more.

Thank you for having the audacity to think out loud. It advances thought in a relevant and necessary way!

Please know that while there will always be the “cheerleaders” for one team or the other, many of us on this platform appreciate (and crave!) actual thought. Different, conflicting opinions. People that are able to nuance the issues. The whole tired thing of “if you’re blue, this is what you think, and if you’re red this is what you think” is so childish and immature. Outsourcing your thinking to any political party is insane. So, all that to say - thanks for being willing to write (and think) out loud, even if it means losing subscribers. If people all love you, you’re not doing anything interesting. Keep on keeping on.

My motto: we all end up the same way, so does anything really matter.

Keep up the good work.

There are three types of people: Fear-mongers, reactionaries, and mystic-makers. The formers hate the third, but the latter changes the world. 😉

I ran into this when I started working in a basic medical science research department at a University that managed to hire exclusively women for every nearly staff position throughout department and as far as I could tell throughout all those other departments in building, lab-techs, and only I and another man that were specialists were not meritless quota hires, and I was hired despite HR 'loosing' my application - luckily I knew the supervisor that created the position.

It turned into a nightmare horror man-hating toxic hell-hole filled with delusional psychotic lying vicious retarded mobbing witch-whisper-web level of hell I couldn't understand.

What I realized is that most were not human by my older manhood virtue-value system - and I had worked, studies, socialized, loved women and men in many different places before I worked there and I had never seen or would have believed such concentrated evil could be wrapped in women's skin.

You can not discuss abstract or most ideas with them - If I outlined an argument I disagreed with -even though I repeatedly say I disagree but this is what they argue and then attack their argument .. they walk away thinking and saying that I agree with it.

for the last few generations as men of that generation and virtues have been replaced by ‘men without chests’ and women unwilling to speak frankly and clearly, excusing their fairy-lies behind ‘devouring motherly’ retarding them, preventing success in adulthood in some kind of sexual-repression adult man & women fear and-or hate. Or something as delusionally-psychotic.

— Explaining References —

About ‘men without chests’ - Wikipedia’s entry on C.S. Lewis book “The Abolition of Man” that seems to describe modern Western mind-raping golem-shaping hyper-feminized education system that retards and programs, instead of educates, in contempt of human dignity;

"The final chapter describes the ultimate consequences of this debunking: a not-so distant future in which the values and morals of the majority are controlled by a small group who rule by a perfect understanding of psychology, and who in turn, being able to see through any system of morality that might induce them to act in a certain way, are ruled only by their own unreflected whims. In surrendering rational reflection on their own motivations, the controllers will no longer be recognizably human, the controlled will be robot-like, and the Abolition of Man will have been completed."

The communist branch in the Synagogue of Satan has turned Western Education (at least here in the USA, which spreads rapidly - as legalized Abortion and destruction of fatherhood in USA spread and poisoned the once Liberty and Christian virtue-valued West) into a darkened damaged intellectual retardation through young child trauma abuses such as forced acceptance of unnatural or insane practices; mothers allowed to kill our future children on whimsy without legal review or sexual identity confusion and dissociation from their sex, grooming for later sexual-mutilation and suicide. Then, once the very young students are traumatized into frozen fear-response, those women communist tools as feminists brain-washing ‘educators’ follow through with programmed false-morality based knee-jerk replacement for ‘thinking.’

About ‘devouring motherly’;

"The archetype is one of a mother archetype who selfishly loves her children rather than selflessly, as would be better for them. She does so out of a sense of “protecting” them from the real world.

However, in doing so she does not realize that she is in fact permanently making them infants, ever reliant on their mother for the rest of their life and incompetent when it comes to living independently in the world."

I have researched Western education historical practices focusing on education before Synagogue of Satan’s Western Christian and Liberty virtue-valued destroying minions took control, removed Latin (as part of Modernist’s undermining of Catholic Church and universal language of educated peoples) forced the Prussian Education Standard that removes critical thinking skills for minimum education level needed for factory workers and military cannon-fodder for the regular cullings to reduce the excess men that are unneeded by ruling elites’ factories, and would become a threat to their system.

Before the Synagogue of Satan’s minions gripped most of world’s powerful families as they have today, before the reshaping of every level of education for their ends, students - especially middle- and upper-class students would get excellent education beyond our High School standard, all by 8th grade, including basics of Latin and Greek, all the basics in math, science, reading-writing, history including classics, and more.

Using AI tools it is easy to list all the expected or required subjects that a modern K-12th grade education covers and reschedule it all to be covered in K-8th, including the basic of Latin, Classic Greek mythologies, history that reflects actual true events - not politically directed false narratives as we can observe today where future history of events now are falsely reported by ‘media-of-record’, the same system that has re-written the false history we’ve mis-learned.

So, replacing k-8th grade educators and administrators with men focused on educating adults for success, not twisted retarded delusional feelie-driven women that are so psycho as to slow the entire student body down to the least able student - so feelies don’t get hurt .. or to purposely retard students with goal of symbolically breast-feeding un-adults through their 20s and crippling them and Western society, perhaps?

Students unable to advance at normal rate will go into a simplified ‘pepper-picking’ education track.

For the majority that continue through standard education track, at the end of 8th grade the graduates may be tested and top 10-15 percent allowed free university with basic room & board included, with testing every 2-years for continuing supported education as desired by student. The other students go from 8th grade to trades education, 2 years part time classes and rest on-job learning.

Goal - it’s simple and rejects this Witch-Shaped Breast-feeding infant-adult retardation of today and worse in future .. goal is adulthood started at or near 15 years old, employment that can support a wife and starting family by 20-23 yo., young women often guided by parents to marry after age 15 yo. Helping raise grandchildren by 40 yo., and-or following Career interests, perhaps, but dying old after a life of Meaning and family, a blessing to everyone they interacted with - instead of poisonous psycho-delusional curse, as too many women are today.

I always question every subscription. I questioned my subscription to your blog after the last article because the piece had some questionable logic on/about AB Testing relating to state policy. Then I reflected on the parts I agreed with and disagreed with. I have not fully formulated my concerns about the article. It fired off some visceral emotions about logic and critical thinking. I do not vote straight ticket and I choose the candidates that most align with my beliefs. I have been called right wing and left wing because of some of my past statements.

I have found a lot of grist for my mill in your posts. I am always concerned with critical thinking and logic. I don’t want regurgitated posts from popular corners. I am also concerned with pushing politics instead of ideas.

I am still here. I have high expectations for items that wins my attention. I don’t expect perfection. I have slimmed my subscriptions, but you have made the cut.

Whoa, Steph... what a great smack down for ignorance and smack up for curious thinking. Sad to say, I'm shocked by this trend of intellectual compliance that you're experiencing.

Yikes!

I can't help but wonder if those subscribers, even though on either side of the political Grand Canyon we're constructing out of cement, if there are other demographics that might shed some light.

Age, possibly? People who spend more time on screens than is sensory-world viable? Whose digital mindset precludes nuance or controversy without rage because their brains have been conditioned to "small" devices.

You know that physical handwriting activates a different part of the brain than typing. That the container affects the knowledge inside of it. Constraint can be a creativity inducer. Or a mental roadblock.

Just thinking out loud and off-the-cuff. Thanks for trusting your readers to be okay with being uncomfortable. Being disturbed. Emotional health and maturity need the entire spectrum, from the good-feel vibes all the way into the distressed ones.

Bring on the nuance. Bring on the controversy. Bring it all on... and the ones who get you will stick around.

I will, for sure.

I appreciated your a/b article. As others have written, reading different perspectives helps me to think outside of my lane, if you will, which is required if I want to continue to learn & grow as I age. Our world is constantly changing & evolving. Clinging to long-held stances without considering other viewpoints can cause one to be dull, stuck & without curiosity. I have, in fact, read the article twice & probably will do so again. Thank you for continually sparking us to think.

stepfanie tyler's avatar

Thanks so much, Terry. More than anything else, I hope to provide people with little windows into other perspectives, regardless of if they end up changing their minds. Because I agree with you, staying curious is how we continue to grow—and closed mindedness is antithetical to self-actualization. And to your point, makes you rather dull :)
